The maple with sheets of obier or maple of Italy ( Acer opalus ) is a Arbre of intermediate size of the family of the Acéracée S according to the traditional Classification, or of the family of the Sapindacée S (to which belong henceforth Acéracées) according to the phylogenetic Classification. He is present in the hills and mountains of Western and southernmost Europe and North Africa.
