Maphrianat of the East
The Maphrianat of the East was a special jurisdiction of the orthodoxe syriaque Église for the areas raising in the beginning of the Persian empire (province of Khvarvaran/Mésopotamie). The seat of the maphrianat was initially Tikrit then Mosul. 81 Maphrien S are succédé between 629 and 1859.
