Map Room is the name given to the one of the parts of the White House

Description

The Map Room , i.e. chart-house or of the chart , is one of the many parts of the White House (residence of the President of the United States of America). Of rectangular form, it is at the ground floor, beside an oval room which is used for the diplomatic receptions. It was a meeting room who was used to give a progress report on the information of the secret services, the evolution of military operations and the conflicts at the time of the Second world war. It was replaced today by the situation room.
