Many master keys (machining)
In Machining, the many master keys defines the number of passages of the tool on a part to arrive at the result wanted according to the parameters of machining.
For example in turning, on the basis of a blank 20 mms in diameter which one wishes to slide-lathe until a diameter of 10 mm, by taking a depth of cut of 1 mm to the ray, it will be necessary 5 passages of the tool to remove the matter.
