Manual Cape
The Cape Manuel is located at the southern point of the Presqu'île of Cape Verde (Senegal). It owes its name with Manuel III, king of the Portugal (1495 - 1521).
This projection in the sea circumvented by a cornice dug in the rock offers a form of protection to the wearing of Dakar. It is also a residential district where one finds several Ambassade S - of which the Embassy of France -, as well as the residence of the European Community.
History
If one believes the remainders of them and the tools in Basalte found on the site, of the fishermen were established in this place there are 3.000 to 4.000 years and their dugouts manufactured there.In 1870, one built a Lazaret there intended to receive the struck new arrivals of forty.
