Mansuy Gauvin

Mansuy Gauvin is a Lorraine sculptor 16th century died after 1542. He was the ordinary sculptor of the duke of Lorraine Rene II.

Achievements

• the statue of Notre-Dame de Bonsecours who was placed in the vault of the same name after the Bataille of Nancy in 1477.

• the enfeu of the duke Rene II in the church of Cordeliers of Nancy

• the tomb of Hugues of Hazards in the Saint M3edard's Day church of Blénod-lès-Toul
