Manon Rhéaume
Manon Rhéaume (born the February 24th 1972 with Lake-Beauport with the Quebec) is a goalkeeper of hockey and Olympian Canadian which is the only woman to have played for a team of the National league of hockey.
She was engaged as free agent by the Lightning de Tampa Bay and disputed a match preparation for Lightning against the Blues of Saint-Louis in 1992 and another against the Bruins of Boston in 1993. She played thereafter for several clubs of minor leagues; she gained the money medal with the team of Canada of Hockey with the Olympic Games of Nagano in 1998.
She married in June 1998 and has a son. His/her brother Pascal Rhéaume evolves/moves in the LNH with the Coyotes of Phoenix.
