Manolo Badrena
Manolo Badrena is a Percussionniste born in March 1952 with San Juan (Puerto Rico).
Installed in the United States, percussionist much in demand in the studios, Manolo Badrena took part in hundreds of recordings (Jazz, pop, World music,…). It is especially known for its participation in the group Weather Report in 1976-1977. One could hear it near musicians as different as Eubie Blake, Herb Alpert, Don Elect, George Duke, Michel Colombier, Pat Metheny, Joni Mitchell, Airto Moreira, Eliane Elias, Ahmad Jamal, Henry Mancini, Steve Kuhn, Michael Franks,… It also took part in recordings of groups like Zawinul Syndicate, Spyro Gyra, Blondie, Talking Heads, Sixun,…
