Maniema
The Maniema is one of the provinces of the Democratic republic of Congo. Its capital is Kindu. It close the Kasai-Eastern in the west, the Eastern Province in north, North-Kivu and the South-Kivu in the east, and the Katanga in the south.
With the XIXe century, " Maniema" generally the currently known area under the name of " indicated; Kivu " (current provinces of the Nord Kivu, Southern Kivu and Maniema).
