Mangualde is a city and municipality (in Portuguese: concelho or município ) of the Portugal, located in the District of Viseu and the area Centers.
Geography
Mangualde is bordering:

- in south-east, of Gouveia,
- in the south, of Seia,
- in south-west, of Nelas,
- in the North-West, of Viseu.
History
The Portuguese charter (:
foral ) of the municipality was granted in
1102 by Henri of Burgundy (1066-1112), count de Portugal.
Demography
Economy
One of its main resources is the automobile industrial site of Peugeot-Citroen. The
July 27th 1990, the last specimen of 2CV left the line production.
Famous inhabitants
Lio is native of Mangualde.
