Manfred Rommel

Manfred Rommel , born the December 24th 1928 with Stuttgart is a German Politician .

Only sons resulting from the marriage of the Field-marshal Erwin Rommel with Lucie Maria Mollin, it deserted the German army after the poisoning of his father and goes to the 1 {{Re}} French Army with the marshal of Lattre de Tassigny, which takes it for interpreter. Member of the CDU, he was a mayor of Stuttgart of 1974 with 1996, before being named by Helmut Kohl like coordinator of the Franco-German businesses, posts that he occupied until 1999, date on which Rudolf von Thadden replaced it.
