The Mandés are an ethnicity of the West Africa. The mandingue group gathers a cultural unit which counts 27 dialectal alternatives classified in two groups:

  • Mandingues Western: ; Mandingue of Eastern Senegal (Mandingo), Badibunke of Kombo (Gambia), Pakawunke of the country of Sédhiou (Senegal), Woyinké of Kaabu (Guinea-Bissau)…,

  • Mandingues Eastern: Bambara and Khassonké of Mali, Malinké of Guinea and malinké of Coast of Ivoive.

Of the Ivory Coast malinké is as will bambaras they are also called dioula which wants to say trading at the mandingues. Malinkés, will bambaras them speak the same language and certain words are not similar. They are also peasants and warriors. Their hunters are called the donsos.
