History
- In 1224, the Viscount of Béarn Guilhem de Moncade, gave to the Templiers and Hospital this " place; where there was formerly beautiful a Château " and they built their old people's home there.
- In 1235, the Gascon order of Jacques Saint of the Faith and Peace started to restore the primitive fort, from where a quarrel during more than thirty years between the two rival orders.
