A management system of technical data , or SGDT , is a whole of tools Informatique S for the management of the technical data related to a project of Conception.

These tools aim to fulfill the following functions: to store, manage and control all information and process concerning the Definition, the Production and the Maintenance of a product. The acronym corresponding in English is PDM , for Product Data Management .

The PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) is an extension of the SGDT.
