  • Made up of Humus, it does not fear the pain. The balls, impacts and lasers cross it or dislocate it, without truly wounding it. Only a fire destroying most of its body would make it possible to wound it seriously, but it would be still able to be restructured by absorbing the surrounding vegetation and moisture.
  • the Man-Thing has a body humanoïde, but its form is not really solid. It can slip into the interstices, by spending time to with it.
  • It is very sensitive to the emotions of the people who meet it: it will observe with curiosity those which act close to him. If these last are afraid, or are in anger, its body generates powerful a Acid sulphuric, burning the human flesh in a few seconds. Even the super-resistant body of Hulk in made the expenses!
  • the Man-Thing avoids leaving its marsh, because it is very dependant on its environment. It weakens at each day spent without moisture.
