Saint

Mac-Low which is one of the seven saints founders of Brittany had undertaken a voyage to the sides of Brendan Saint in order to discover " the island of Paradis". After seven years of wandering which led it to the country of the ices and fact food various adventures marvellous, it touched the Breton coasts with the Life century to found there a monastery with Aleth. At the time Aleth was high with the row of évêché, " Malo" (see with Holy Maclou) became the first bishop about it but after being themselves annoyed with its parishioners and all having excommunicated them the country left to go to be established in Saintonge where he died.

One century after the death of Malo, the inhabitants of Aleth left to quérir its relics in order to deposit them in the cathedral built in its honor where since them remain.
