The Aventura Badly is a Shopping mall located at Aventura, in the northern suburbs of Miami, in Florida. It was inaugurated in 1983 and it is the larger sixth Shopping mall of the the United States and the second in Florida, after the Sawgrass Mills. Its sales area is of 222.967 square meters and the center has 4 stages. The Aventura Badly belongs to Simon Property Group, there are approximately 275 shops in the shopping mall.
History
The Aventura Badly was inaugurated in 1983 and became largest then Shopping mall of Florida. The four first department stores established were JC Penney, Macy' S (most important in Florida), Sears, and Lord & Taylor.The major phase of construction of the center is finished in 1998 and two new department stores were added since: Bloomingdales and Burdines, like several cinemas (AMC Theaters), of the restaurants and a Rainforest Coffee.
The store Lord & Taylor closed for financial reasons and Burdines was famous Macy' S in March 2005. In 2008, a new store Nordstrom will open its doors and the Aventura Badly will become largest Shopping mall of Florida]] and the fifth of the United States.
