Malik Chibane

Malik Chibane is a realizer, scenario writer, producer of French cinema born on March 10th, 1964 with Saint-Vallier, Saône-et-Loire.

Biography

Born in the Drome, it is three years old when his/her parents move with Goussainville. In 1985, he works as lighting engineer with the Théâtre of the Door Saint Martin's day. He receives a diploma for the occupation of organizer of cultural events for his activities within the association which he founds, IDRISS. At this point in time he writes his first fiction which he will turn with little means to the format 16 mm, Hexagone , a film reporting the life of an immigrant family Arab. The film is transferred on a support in 35 mm using subsidies and it leaves in the rooms in 1994. The critic and the public accommodate with enthusiasm film.

Malik Chibane continues its career by writing and directing Douce France (1995), Nés some share (telefilm, 1997) and Voisins, close (2005).
