Malignant Hemopathy

The malignant hemopathy is the synonym of the old term " cancer of the sang"

The malignant hémopathies thus are classified:

  • Leukemia S: tumor of blood (the blood cells proliferate in blood)
  • Lymphome S: tumor in the secondary lymphoid bodies (such as for example the ganglia or spleen)
One puts also the malignant hémopathies the following syndromes, which are not always regarded as cancers:
  • Syndrome myelodysplasic: defect of synthesis of one or more of the types of following blood cells: red globules, white globules or plates
  • and myéloprolifératif Syndrome: excess of synthesis of one or more of the types of following blood cells: red globules, white globules or plates

Even if the lymphoid line can also create diseases (lymphoprolifératives diseases) those are classified in the malignant hémopathies directly, on the other hand most of leukemias (which they are classified in malignant hémopathies) are lymphoprolifératives diseases.
