Malatia-Sebastia
Malatia-Sebastia (in Armenian: Մալաթիա - Սեբաստիա) is a district of Erevan, sometimes also called in a negative way Bengladesh because being one of the poorest districts of the city.
Situation
Of a surface of 2.280 hectares, it is located at the south-east of the city. Its population is of 158.700 inhabitants.
Administration
Divided into five districts - NOR Malatia, NOR Sebastia, Zoravar Antranik, Shahumian and Araratian - the district is controlled since 1988 by Arvan Grigorian (August 2nd 1956 -) (in Armenian: ԱղվանԳրիգորյան) .
