Malagasy Hypositte
The Malagasy Hypositte ( Hypositta corallirostris (Newton, 1863)) is smallest of the Vangidae.
Description
Malagasy Hypositte measures 13 to 14 cm.In the male, general coloring is blue gray. The face, the lores and the chin are black. The nozzle is bright red with the black end. The irises are brown dark.
The female differs from the male by the head and the lower parts brown green, the upper parts, the wings and the dull tail gray blue and the duller red nozzle.
