The emir Maktoum Ben Rached Al-Maktoum (born in 1943 and deceased the January 4th 2006), was governor of Dubai, president in 2004 and Prime Minister for the United Arab Emirates (WATER) of 1971 with 1979 and of 1990 with 2006.

It is deceased at the 62 years age in Australia. His/her brother, Mohammad Ben Rached Al-Maktoum, took the reins of the capacity at the date of his death.

Horses

In love with the horses, it impassioned for the horse-races and the horsemanship. It directed the stable Godolphin, one of most prestigious of the world. Itself riding international of endurance, he was the husband of the Haya Princess of Jordan, ex-riding international of Saut of obstacles, reconverted into the endurance and elected president of the FEI in 2006.
