Maktab Al-Khadamāt

The Maktab Al-Khadamāt or Maktab Khadamāt Al-Mujāhidīn Al-Arab (مكتبالخدمات or مكتبخدماتالمجاهدينالعرب in Arab, “Service bureau”), also known under the name of Afghan Office , was probably rested by the doctor Abdullah Azzam, professor of Usama Bin Laden, and influential member of the Muslim brothers. The MAK was employed to convey capital of Western sources to finance the Jihad against the Soviet army in Afghanistan. It actively recruited combatants (Moudjahiddin S) all over the world. The government étatsunien evaluates to several thousands the number of its members.

The MAK was closely related to the Pakistani government , particularly the Pakistani intelligence service.
