Maksim Bahdanovič

Maksim Bahdanovič (in Belorusse: МаксімБагдановіч) (December 9th, 1891 - May 25th, 1917) is a poet, journalist and critical literary Belorusse famous.

Biography

Bahdanovič was born in Minsk in the family from a scientist. In 1892 the family moved in the town of Hrodna where her mother deceased of tuberculosis in little time.

In 1896 his father, Adam Bahdanovič moved with Nizhny Novgorod, in Russia. It is at that time that Maksim written its first poems in Belorusse. In 1902 Bahdanovic between at the university. During the Revolution of 1905 it took an active part in the strike movements.

In 1907 Nacha Niva publishes the news Muzyka - it is the first publication of a work of Maksim Bahdanovič.

In 1908 the Bahdanovič family moves again - this time at Jaroslavl. In 1909 it falls ill. In 1911 Maksim finishes its studies at the university and returns on its native soils. It makes knowledge with Vatslau Lastouski, the brothers Loutskievic and other actors of the Belorusse national rebirth. During the same year it begins studies of right. At the same time it takes part in the drafting of the newspaper Golos. Maksime Bahdanovič becomes increasingly known.

With the end of its studies of right in 1916, Maksim Bahdanovič settles in Minsk. Although already hard sick, it devotes all its spare time to litéraire creation. It leaves then in the Crimea to look after its disease. But aucours of the same year Maksim Bahdanovič dies out in Yalta.

Aujourdh' today one finds the museums dedicated to Maksim Bahdanovič with Minsk, Hrodna and Jaroslavl. Each Belorusse important city has a street on its behalf, as well as the cities: Nijni Novgorod, Jaroslavl and Yalta. Its name is also given to schools and bibliotèques Belorusse. Two operas were intended to him. Since 1991 the name of Maksim Bahdanovič makes party of the calendar of UNESCO.
