Makoto Tamada

Makoto Tamada , born the November 4th 1976 in the Prefecture of Ehime, is a pilot of Speed motor bike Japan board.

After first competitions in the mini motor bike, it gains a regional championship 250cm ³. Thereafter, it always evolves/moves four years in the principal Japanese series in 250cm ³. It finishes in particular 4th in 1998 on a private motor bike. It takes part then in the championship superbike of Japan where it appears in signal 5 at each end of season during 4 years. In 2001, he sees himself offering a wild-card to take part in a sleeve of the championship of the world of superbike, an occasion which he finds in 2002.

These appearances into world superbike enable him to find sponsors being able to finance his entry in the championship MotoGP. Thanks to partnership agreement with the cigarettier Camel and Pramac, it obtains a handlebar in the stable of Sito Pons for the season 2003. As of its first season, it obtains a podium by finishing second of the Grand Prix of Brazil and carried out two qualifications in first line. It thus finishes its first year in the 11th place of general classification. In 2004, then fellow-member of max Biaggi, it obtains its first two victories in Rio and Motegi what enables him to obtain the 6th place with the classification of the championship at the end of the season. In 2005, it joined the stable Konica Minolta Honda but a wound with the Poignet disturbs its beginning of the season. In spite of a third place obtained at the time of its national Grand Prix, it finishes the season only in the 11th place. The season 2006 is not more brilliant since it obtains like better result only one 5th place in Portugal. At the time of the season 2007, it joined the French stable Yamaha Tech 3 where it makes team with Sylvain Guintoli.
