The business Diaye/Atkinson

Diaye was thus condemned by the federation of basketball to ten matches of suspension. It will profit however from a presidential pardon.

International Senegalese, Makhtar Diaye did not take part in the Championship of Africa in 1997 (Dakar, Senegal), 2003 (Alexandria, Egypt) and in 2005 (Algiers, Algérie).He took part in the Championship of the World 1998 (Athens, Greece), he takes part in the Mondial 2006 in Japan.
