Makhatchkala
Makhatchkala (Russian: Махачкала) is a town of Russia, the capital of the République of Daguestan. It is located on the coast at the west of the Caspian Sea. It was founded in 1844 like a fortress; the statute of city was granted to him in 1857. The first name of the city was Petrovskoye (Петро́вское) - of after the Russian Tsar Pierre Large the, which visited the area in 1722.
