Majestic
Majestic is a mark and a model of French motor bike.
Majestic appears in 1929, resulting from the inventive brain of Georges Roy. But Georges is not with his first attempt. He already produced his own motor bike in 1923, the New Motorcycle. The bad sales figures of the latter and the increase in the number of cars push it to design a motor bike with an automobile spirit.
Majestic is the result of this project. The frame is composed of two members. The engine and the frame are hidden under a sheet body. The transmission is not made tree. The direction uses a central hub articulated by a kneecap, the sliding whole being assembled.
In 1930, Georges Roy makes an agreement with the Establishments Delachanal, producer of Dollar, for the manufacture of Majestic. Perhaps too advances some over its time, this manufacture will end in 1933, two years after the repurchase of Dollar by Metallurgical Omnium and Industrialist, owner of Chaise. There were only 100 built specimens, that is to say the number of spare parts carried out for the direction.
