Majdanpek
Majdanpek , in Serb Cyrillic Мајданпек, is a city and a municipality of Serbia located in the district of Bor. In 2002, the city counted 10.071 inhabitants and the municipality of which it is center 23.703.
The city is famous for a copper mine worked since the 17th century. But it was industrialized especially in the middle of the 20th century.
