The Mairac is a two-tone Pomme of a blazing red moucheté of grains of Rouille on a yellow bottom Vanille.

Characteristics

Its color braises drawing on the red blood comes to him from his/her grandparent, the Franc-Reed. As its dress is chechmate, it evokes a natural side. Origin

The Mairac variety is obtaining the Center of the Ferns of the federal station of research in vegetable production of Changin in Suisse at the edge of the lake Léman, in French-speaking Switzerland, area very favourable with the Culture of apples. Vegetation

Mairac Harvest of mid-September at the end of September. It is preserved in Réfrigérateur under Ultra Low Oxygen (ULO) with 3° of cold, 90-92% of moisture, 1,5% of CO2 and 1% of Oxygène.

It is consumed since the beginning of March. It is at this time that its gustatory qualities are balanced.

For the moment one can consume it only in French-speaking Switzerland.
