Mainxe
Mainxe is a common French, located in the department of the Charente and the area Poitou-Charentes.
Its inhabitants is Mainxois.
Geography
Located between Jarnac at north and Segonzac at the south, its territory is located in Grande Champagne, first vintage of cognac.It is crossed of west in is on its southern part by the Way Boisné, portion of the Roman Voie driving of Saintes to Périgueux (VR 28).

- Saint-Maurice Church: old diocese of Holy, this church was almost entirely rebuilt 1858 with 1862, as well as a vault, raised in the south of the nave, with the birth of the chorus.
