Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah
Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. (June 11th 1920 - January 31st 1972) is king of the Nepal of 1955 with 1972. It succeeds his father, Tribhuvan Shah, which had put an end to hegemony that the family Rânâ had had on the capacity for 150 years. With the difference of his/her father, Mahendra is not a burning defender of the parliamentary Démocratie, and it prohibits any opposition party in the Années 1960. His/her son Birendra succeeds to him.
Its other wire, Gyanendra, is king during a few months during his childhood, of 1950 with 1951, when Tribhuvan, Mahendra and Birendra flee the country to escape the Rânâ family. After 50 years, Gyanendra became again king, when his/her brother Birendra is assassinated in 2001.
