Magnus Ier of Norway
Magnús Ier Olafsson den Gode (the Good) (v. 1024 - 1047), king de Norvège of 1035 at 1047 and king de Danemark of 1042 at 1047.
Wire illegitimate of king de Norvège, Olaf II of Norway known as Olaf the Saint , it is exiled in Sweden after the death of his/her father in 1030. It is placed on the throne of Norway by the Magnat S which had deposited Sven Knutsson, the son of Knut II of Denmark known as Knut Large the .
In 1042, following an agreement it succeeds on the throne of Denmark Knut III of Denmark known as Bold the , other wire of Knut the Large one, and restores the union of the two kingdoms to its profit.
However with the catches with the Danish revolt carried out by Sven II of Denmark, nephew of Knut the Large one which had proclaimed king, it was obliged to share the capacity in Norway with his uncle Harald III of Norway.
He died the October 25th 1047 while fighting against the Danes and was buried in the cathedral of Nidaros to with dimensions of his father, Olaf II of Norway.
