Biography
After the death of his/her Louis brother in 1367, Magnus II of Brunswick inherited the duchies of Lunebourg and Brunswick. After the death of his/her father occurred in 1369, it inherited the two duchies (Lunebourg and Brunswick). In 1370, it lost the duchy of Lunebourg to the profit of Albert and Venceslas of Saxony, this duchy was allotted to them by the emperor Charles IV of the Holy roman Empire. Several cities of which: Lauenbourg, Uelzen and Hanover made act of allegiance to the Maison of Saxony. Magnus II of Brunswick, with much of difficulties, managed to preserve among its allies, the town of Brunswick. The war of succession lasted a few years, it ended after the death of Magnus II of Brunswick to the battle of Leveste.
