The Magnoliidae are a subclass of plants Angiospermes. In Classification of Cronquist (1981), it are share of the class Magnoliopsida (dicotylédones) and including/understanding the orders suivants :
- Aristolochiale S ( Aristolochiales )
- Illiciale S ( Illiciales )
- Laurale S ( Laurales )
- Magnoliale S ( Magnoliales )
- Nymphéale S ( Nymphaeales )
- Papavérale S ( Papaverales )
- Pipérale S ( Piperales )
- Renonculale S ( Ranunculales )
In phylogenetic classification of the angiospermes, according to APG II (2003), this subclass does not exist.
