A small castle of the 19th century, property of two brothers, Raymond and Alphonse Réthoré, who during more than 30 years was the subject of work of enlarging, ever finished. A 220 meters broad frontage, a 20 height meters 15 meters depth and was coupled with the small primitive manor. Hundreds of cubic meters of ground were moved in order to model a landscape, with the banal departure. After the death of the two brothers, this pastiche of the
Castle of Versailles flanked of a arborétum and located on a site letting discover a vast panorama, high risk for lack of maintenance to degrade itself quickly.
After the acqisition of the field by a Parisian antique dealer, a project had elaborate in
2002 whose object was to give again life with the site by giving him the possibility of accommodating collections of contemporary art.
It would seem that, for lack of financing, the prospects are somewhat scrambled.
