Magnée

Magnée (in Walloon Mågnêye ) is a section of the common Belgian of Fléron located in Walloon region in the Province of Liege.

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977. The village counts 1300 inhabitants.

August 6th, 1914, 20th, 35e IH and 39e RAC of the German imperial army passed 17 civilians there by the weapons and destroyed there 14 houses at the time of the German Atrocités made at the beginning of the invasion.

  • Old stone farms of the country disseminated in the middle of the village.

  • All the first weekends of October takes place there the festival of the fruit.
