It is the first time in two years which Jack Wood leaves New York. But these holidays in Ireland are only one cover for the large project which he saw himself entrusting by his company. While arriving at the small cottage that it rented in full Irish countryside, Jack discovers that it will profit from a comfort from most precarious. Then it leaves to walk in wood where it surprises a very pretty woman bathing in the river. Betraying its presence, Jack does not have time to dissipate the misunderstanding, before the young woman does not throw stones to him and the terrible revenge on his/her brothers does not promise to him. While returning to the cottage, Jack hears voices suddenly, then a bottle offers resistance oddly to him. Falling to the shift, Jack disappears and awakes the next morning by cursing the effects of the local beverage. But he hears whirrs and sees a small silhouette furtively to flee towards the forest. Jack follows the small creature to the river and is thrown to water to save it drowning. On the bank, Jack is found suddenly vis-a-vis an imp who flees again. Reappearing in the cottage, the imp then agrees to present himself: he is Seamus Muldoon, chief of the Leprechaun S. Eberlué, Jack would like to convince himself that he suffers just from the jet lag. But Seamus continues the presentations, of his wife, Mary and of her son, Mickey…
Second part
Loan to be left for New York in spite of the refusal Kathleen to accompany it, Jack gives up the last moment to get into the train. On the quay, he sees then the young woman, a bag with the hand… During this time, the battle makes rage between Léprechauns and the Spirits of the forest, all private of their immortality by large the Banshee. Conscious of the lack of organization of its troops, Seamus Muldoon requires of Jack to exempt a military training to them. On its side, Mickey Muldoon wanders on the beach when he suddenly sees Spirits of the forest which carry out it to the underwater hiding-place of Jessica. The Léprechaun young person succeeds in removing his princess and takes along it in the marshes, in neutral ground, to ask council the Spirit of butter. Nature being protected by the Spirits of the forest, completely worried by their military strategy, time was put out of order, snow falling even in summer. While Kathleen waits inside the cottage, it falls on documents attesting the true reason from the presence from Jack: it was charged by its company with New York with buying all the houses of the area, in order to establish to with it a tourist complex for Americans in evil of bucolic joys…
