Magic Drunk
Magic Bus is a song of the Who (1968). This individual largely contributed to the popularity of the group. Very played in concert (in particular at the time of the Live At Leeds ), this title appears in compilation Magic Bus: The Who one Turn . The individual one was written two years rather, but the group, at that time, preferred to publish individual the My Generation.
This song presents a rhythmic overload, the low one and the guitar exploiting of the simple and energetic reasons, bottom of percussions played by Keith Moon, pointing out the happy Bo Diddley. According to the notes of small pocket of the republication of the Live At Leeds , John Entwistle appreciated little to play this piece, being obliged to repeat the same front continuously. Moon also felt frustrated to have to strike unceasingly small a Woodblock. This instrument will however be included in the refrain of I Don' T Even Know Myself . On the other hand, Pete Townshend adored to interpret this song in concert. As one can hear it on the various recordings in concert of beginning of the year 70, the song was rather different from the version studio, degenerating into long impetuous improvisations.
