Maggie Smith is a British actress born the December 28th 1934 in Ilford in Essex (England)
Biography
It begins its career with the theater of which it became one of the icons, having interpreted many great roles of the traditional repertory (of Shakespeare to Wilde). It makes its beginnings with the cinema in 1958 in “ Nowhere to go ” of B. Dearden and S. Holt.It is Dame Commander of the British Empire like doctor honoris causa of the University of St Andrews and the University of London.
She married twice. From 1967 to 1974 with the actor Robert Stephens, who gave him two children: the actors Chris Larkin, born in 1967, and Toby Stephens, born in 1969. Finally with the playwright and scenario writer Beverley Cross-country race, of 1975 with died of this last, in 1998.
