Madrugada
Madrugada , in spite of its name with Hispanic consonance, is a group of Norwegian Rock.
The quartet is composed of Sivert Hoyem (song), Frode Jacobsen (low), Jon Lauvland Pettersen (battery) and Robert S. Buras (guitar).
Their music points out the Velvet Underground, the Stooges but also R.E.M. and Placebo, with influences drawn at Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and Chris Isaak.
Biography
Formed in 1995, Madrugada makes speak about him in 1998 with two mini albums, Madrugada and, the following year, New Depression . As of their first album, in 1999, the melancholic person Industrial Silence , Madrugada rises at the top of the Norwegian charts. In March 2001, the group leaves a second opus The Nightly Disease , then the album Grit in 2002. L is necessary to wait three years to see Madrugada returning with a fourth album, (2005) which caracol at the head of the sales in Scandinavia… and Greece. at the end of 2005, the group left its first album in public, Live At Tralfamadore , recorded essentially in Norway. July 12th, 2007, the guitarist Robert S. Buras died at the 31 years age, whereas the group recorded a new album.

- Madrugada is a word of the Castillan which comes from the verb madrugar (to rise early) and which means the paddle . The hours after midnight and until the rising of the sun are indicated thus in Spanish (one hour of the morning = the una of the madrugada , and not the una of the mañana .)
