Madras (fabric)

The Madras is a fabric with chain of Soie and screen of Coton, bright colors, originating in the town of Madras, current the Chennai, capital of the province of the Tamil Nadu in the south-east of the India.
By extension, the Madras is rotten often coloured carried by the West-Indian women .
This light cotton, of simple, ruffled texture easily. It is woven several colors which form squares or drawings, and is useful especially for current clothing.
