Madison Jeffries

Madison Jeffries is a superman created by Marvel Comics, appeared for the first time in Alpha Flight #16 .

Origin

The veteran of the war of Vietnam Madison Jeffries and his handicapped friend Roger Bochs are at the origin of the prototype Box. The last having conceived the plans of the armor as well as a first mechanical version, and the first having built it thanks to its mutant capacities. Jeffries was useful during one moment of the armor, in " glissant" inside.

Jeffries and Bochs were recruited by Guardian within the Division Gamma. They became members of the Division Alpha thereafter.

At the time of its career, Jeffries faced Delphine Courtney, then with the head of the Division Omega, then his/her own brother Lionel (the insane one called Scrambler), who had amalgamated with Roger Bochs to form the Oméga monster. It recovered the armor and remained within Division Alpha. It became one of the pillars of the team and began a connection with Heather McNeil (Vindicator). He faced the great mind Tundra in singular combat, thanks to the mass of the base of Bedlam which he added to his Box armor. He then was reached by a virus launched by Technomancer but succeeds in taking again control. Later, its culpability in death of his/her Lionel brother and Roger Bochs unconsciously pushed it to control the armor of Box car-to destroy itself, but once more it found the reason.

Jeffries married his/her colleague Lilian Crawley (Diamond Lil).

It disappeared then from circulation during some time. It was in fact removed by the Zodiac. The criminal organization made him undergo a washing of brain and it failed, flexible, under the mask of the Gemini (in binomial with a modified Box).

When the Zodiac was overcome by Division Alpha (2° name), Jeffries was reconditioned by the Department H.

The Director of Weapon X made of Jeffries his mental slave and made him build armies of Boxbots to keep the concentration camp for mutants Neverland.

The Director was betrayed by his assistant Brent Jackson, and it succeeds in fleeing thanks to the capacities of Jeffries and Aurora.

Capacities

Madison Jeffries is mutant which has the mental capacity to restructure glass, the plastic and metal according to its imagination. It is a genious technician, and it thus designed various apparatuses and prototypes of armours of combat, like Box or the boxbots.
