Madeleine is a station of the lines 8, 12 and 14 Métro of Paris; it is located in the 8 {{E}} district of Paris.
The station
The station is open in 1913. Its name points out the small borough which had developed at the 6th century, in the west of the capital, around a stronghold of the bishop of Paris. It was called quickly the City-L' Bishop and its vault was dedicated to Sainte Madeleine at the 13th century.
