Made Michel

Writer and French linguist, born the 12/7/1936. Incorporated grammar (1958), arts doctor and social sciences (1970), Michel Arrivé carried out very a long career of professor at the University Paris X Nanterre, where it directed and makes support a hundred theses. Its many work (a score of books, more than 300 articles) is distributed in the following way:

1. Work of edition and critic relating to the work of Alfred Jarry: single person in charge of the first volume of the complete Works of Jarry in the library of the Pleiad 1972), it also published his Peintures, engravings and drawings and devoted two books to him: languages of Jarry, literary test of semiotics (Klincksieck, 1972) and To read Jarry (Complex PUF and, 1976).

2. Work of French linguistics: collaborator of the Larousse Grammar of contemporary French (1964), he was the project superintendent of the grammar of today, alphabetical guide of French linguistics (Flammarion, 1986). He also published Réformer the orthography (PUF, 1993) and wise Verbes and insane verbs (Lambert-Lucas, 2005).

3. Works relating to the relations between language and unconscious: Linguistic and psychoanalyzes (Meridian lines-Klincksieck, 1986), Langage and psychoanalysis, linguistics and unconscious (PUF, 1994, then Lambert-Lucas, 2006), the linguist and unconscious the (to be appeared). The first two works were translated into several languages.

4. Work of history of linguistics, relative in particular to Ferdinand de Saussure: In the search of Ferdinand de Saussure , PUF, 2007.

5. Texts of fiction: Michel Arrivé published a collection of news: the transitory one or death as it goes (Meridian lines-Klincksieck, 1989) and five novels: remembrances of the idiotic old man (Flammarion, 1977, Price of the first novel), the reduced sentence (Flammarion, 1978), the clock without beam (Flammarion, 1983), a very old little girl (Field small valley, 2006) and the Valkyrie and the professor (Field small valley, 2007).
