Made In Jamaica

Made In Jamaica is a film of Jerome Laperrousaz putting in scene various artists jamaïcains of the roots reggae and the Dancehall (such as Toots and The Maytals, Gregory Isaacs, Third World, Bunny Wailer, Beres Hammond, Capleton, Tanya Stephens for the part roots reggae and Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Lady Saw for the Dancehall) left in 2007.

Synopsis

Made In Jamaica is a film treating of the music and the company jamaïcaine Années 1960 with our days. This film puts in parallel the roots reggae and the reggae dancehall, while being pressed on the texts of the songs, the frame of mind of the artists, etc

A French round in 2007 made it possible to make the promotion of this film. Singers and groups present in film (such as Bunny Wailer, Capleton or The Skatalites) took part in a round called Made In Jamaica Tour 2007 .
