Madan Mohan

Madan Mohan is a Indian Compositeur , born the June 25th 1924 and dead the July 14th 1975.

It composed of the hundreds of film musics, of the songs inspired of the Ghazal, which will be worth to him the title of king of the ghazal . Initially assistant of S.D. Burman, it starts to compose in 1950 and meets its first success with the songs of the film Aankhen which also sees the beginning of its long collaboration with Lata Mangeshkar.

Anecdotes

In 2004, the realizer Yash Chopra decides ressusciter new songs of Madan Mohan (30 years after its death) in the film Veer-Zaara . They are again interpreted by its accomplice of always, Lata Mangeshkar.
