Macropoma
The Macropoma form one of extinct Coelacanthimorpha. They disappeared there is more than 70 million years. They seem more the close relatives of the still alive species of Coelacanth, that of the kind Latimeria .
Fossile S of Macropoma were discovered in England and Czechoslovakia. These fossils measuring 60 cm are two to three times smaller than the modern Coelacanths but their morphology is very resembling.
