Macrien
Marcus Fulvius Macrianus , called Macrien , was one of the usurping thirty which took imperial purple under the emperor Gallien.
It had risen by its merit in the forefront of the armed , and had been charged by Valérien with the administration with the Syria during forwarding with this emperor against the Perses. With the news of the capture of Valérien by Shapur Ier, he proclaimed Auguste in 260, passed the sea the Mediterranean until in Illyrie in 261; but there, it was beaten by Auréolus and was perhaps killed by its officers.
