The Montagne S Mackenzie are an assembly line located at the border between the Yukon and the Territoires of the North-West between the Rivière S Liard and Peel. The National park Nahanni is located in the Mackenzie mountains.

The Mackenzie mountains contain approximately 15% of known world reserves of Tungsten (the English article speaks about 55%!!!). The mining city of Tungsten in the Territories of the North-West, site of the company Cantung Mine is located in the Mackenzie mountains. Only two roads lead to the mountains Mackenzie, both in Yukon: the Road of the chain driving Nahanni at the town of Tungsten and the Road of Canadian oil driving to the collar Macmillan.

The culminating point of the chain is the peak Keele, with an altitude of 2972 Mètre S. the second top being the mount Sir James MacBrien which rises with 2762 meters.
